Agnes Mittermayr and Holly Plaisted have been working together in the eelgrass meadows of outer Cape Cod for 15 years and want to share their knowledge of this critical habitat, the state of it in each outer Cape region, and anything else the community would like to know about eelgrass and seagrasses of the world! Agnes is a benthic ecologist for the Center for Coastal Studies and the director of SeagrassNet (https://www.seagrassnet.org/), a global network building scientific understanding to better and more effectively conserve, restore, and raise awareness of seagrasses worldwide. Holly is a seagrass biologist who leads seagrass and estuarine water quality monitoring at six National Park units across the northeast US.
